Who’s the Transforming Wagon?
Hi! I’m the Transforming Wagon, hailing from the tropical rainforests of the Caribbean. If you’re like me, surely you see the world by its potential to inspire us instead of the bleak reality that we’re constantly being fed. A lover of fantasy and storytelling, my passion lies in creating new worlds we can escape to in order to grow, learn and become a better version of ourselves.
With a degree in foreign languages, and years of extensive independent studies, I’ve developed a taste for the written and spoken word. During my formative years, I spent most of my free time writing manuscripts and studying the fine arts. From short stories to full on novels, I’ve worked alongside many writers, editors and comic book creators. In the last few years, I’ve managed to dab in the visual arts as a way of reinforcing my stories.
As a born and raised Caribbean person, I’ve found fascination with my nation’s culture and folklore. This has led me to focus my works on the Vejigantes, entities that I believe to be a symbol of strength and self-identity. With my words and my illustrations, I aim to present my culture in a new light, developing connections between generations and communities.
